Paper Plane Architects

About Paper Plane

Paper Plane Architects is a boutique studio based in Singapore. Founded in 2013, our international clientele includes Japan, China, Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Through the years, we have had the privilege to work on a wide range of projects of different scales and genres, ranging from hospitality, residential, institution, commercial, and parks.

Design Philosophy

At Paper Plane Architects,
our practice is shaped by learning and unlearning—
a continuous journey of curiosity, humility, and reimagining.

We fold, refold, and sometimes unfold entirely.
Each line drawn is both question and possibility—
Each space shaped, a moment of becoming.

We learn from silence as much as structure,
from light as much as material,
from the forgotten edges as much as the center.

We do not approach projects as fixed answers,
but as open questions.
Not as structures to impose,
but as stories waiting to be uncovered.

We believe in the quiet power of architecture:
to listen,
to adapt,
to evolve.

Good design is never static—
it drifts,
it tilts,
it realigns with the people and places it serves.

Like the paper plane,
our designs are light in spirit,
precise in form,
open to the winds of change
and unbound by conventions.

We navigate by asking, not assuming.
We champion:
imperfection as invitation,
constraint as catalyst,
simplicity as depth.

In every space we shaped,
we create not monuments—
but moments:
moments of pause,
moments of connection,
moments of quiet transformation.

We are architects of unfolding
And in each project, we begin again.
